Aroha is reading...
Aroha is our Student Liaison Librarian, and is available in the Library anytime, unless she off visiting the KDEC students.
She loves cuddles, being read to and most of all she enjoys visiting KDEC students in their classrooms or joining them on trips.
She is happy to hang out in satellite classes or with students on an RTD’s caseload, if you would like her to visit your students.
She brings with her her own camera, the journal of her previous travels for you and your students to read and update, and assorted accessories such as a parasol and a DVD about orang-utans.
Would you consider hosting her for a short while, perhaps at a time when you could take her on a trip or to a KiT day?
Contact KDEC Library if an orang-utan is what your learners need this year!

After the visit by marine photographer, Darryl Torckler last term, Aroha has been enjoying looking at his book on New Zealand Fish.
She is enjoying reading this colourful and visual book.
