Kelston Deaf Education Centre Educational Associate (Teacher Aide) Fixed Term Position Kelston Deaf Education Centre provides educational programmes and services to the Deaf and hearing impaired students throughout the northern half of the North Island of New Zealand. We are seeking an Educational Associate (Teacher Aide) to work along side Deaf students at Mission Heights Junior College. This fixed term position is for Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30am to 3:15pm until December 15, 2010 and is paid under the NZEI Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement Associate Scale Grade B. The person we require must be a dynamic team player ready and willing to fit into a 21st Century school environment that values student led learning and independence. High skill levels of English, ICT and New Zealand Sign Language are required.
