Specialist Services Department
 
Provides staff to work along side families and teachers to assist ORRS funded students in their learning so as they have the opportunity to access (or adapt) the New Zealand Curriculum, (NZC).
 
This consists of the following service providers:
l
· Professional Staff - School Counsellor, Speech and Language Therapists, Interpreters in Education
l
· Contracted Professionals - Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and Psychologist
l
· Paraprofessional Staff - Educational Associates, Language Assistants
 

ORRS Agreement
The Board of Trustees will endeavour to ensure that students with Ongoing and Reviewable Resources scheme (ORRS) funding,
will benefit from a level of service appropriate to their needs as identified in the Individual Education Programme (IEP).
It is understood that the service provided within this budget to the Board of Trustees under its agreement with the Secretary of Education.
